Payment will be made directly into the bank account you provided during registration on the platform within 7-14 days after completion of shift.

We recommend that all carers take out personal liability insurance, however this is not statutory. If the client requires the carer to have personal liability insurance we will ensure that the carer has a policy prior to delivering care.
Assignn Healthcare Marketplace operates a secure online payment gateway facility that holds the payment in a secure third party account. Payment is provided to the carer after they have delivered the agreed care service with your organization. Payment is required after completion of care service by self-employed healthcare professional. For ongoing contracts payment, please contact us to discuss.
Self-employed healthcare professional will be paid the rate on their profile less 20% (inc VAT) commission.
There is no particular shift pattern or minimum hour for shift however we recommend minimum of three hours shift, you can book a self-employed healthcare professional for a one- off shift for a few hours or days or alternatively arrange an ongoing contract , or post any shift pattern/type unique to your organization. An ongoing contract can be canceled with two weeks notice. Canceling a single shift, please give the self-employed healthcare professional a minimum of 48 hours notice.
No, this is breach of our terms and conditions. All payments are made via the platform . Payment are made directly to Assignn healthcare Marketplace from healthcare organizations after completion of care service by self-employed healthcare professional and released to the healthcare professional bank account. If healthcare organizations pay directly to healthcare self-employed professional for care service outside of the platform we will be forced to suspend access to the platform services and the self-employed healthcare professional will be suspended from the Assignn Healthcare Marketplace platform.
All self-employed healthcare professionals have to upload photo identification, DBS certificates and training qualifications. We carry out interviews to establish whether the carer is suitable for our platform. We endeavour to only give our platform access to self-employed healthcare professional that demonstrate their experience via their documents, experience and interview. No, due to the fact that we are just an introduction agency and we do not deliver care to clients. We provision a tech platform that healthcare organizations and self-employed healthcare professional meet to advertise and book shifts in healthcare industry . Assignn marketplace as a result of not delivery healthcare directly do not need CQC certification.
We recommend to give at least 24hours to cancel a shift or two weeks to cancel an ongoing contract . You may cancel or amend a contract at any time. All cancellations must be submitted by email to admin@assignnhealthcare.co.uk
If there is reason to believe the self-employed healthcare professional has not fulfilled their duties or there are any other concerns, you can dispute. We will look at each dispute on a case by case basis and try to resolve the matter fairly. A self-employed healthcare professional also has the ability to dispute a contract in case they believe they have reason to.
Yes, however It is advised to advertised shifts with plenty of time where possible in order for shift to be booked or covered by self-employed healthcare professional before shift commence date. It is possible to book last minute.
Yes, regardless of shift pattern, self-employed healthcare professional need to take appropriate breaks. It is up to self-employed healthcare professional and the organization's personnel to decide what break schedule will work best, and how they can be taken.
Bank holiday rates is entirely dependent on the rate a healthcare organization decides to add to the shift they post on a bank holiday. Assignn healthcare have no interference on rates in the platform.
There are no fee or charges to register in the platform. Free registration for self-employed healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations.
We only accept all credit, debit cards and bank transfer. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept payments by direct debit, PayPal, cheque, and cash.
All self-employed healthcare professionals are obligated to pay their own taxes and national insurance contributions.
Healthcare Organization posting shifts with their discretion decide to add travel expenses for a shift but it is not mandatory. As a self-employed healthcare professional, it is your responsibility to factor your transport cost etc before you book a shift. Shift rates are transparent in the platform.
